Service Description

Clinical Hypnotherapy 101 will introduce the learner to the basic concepts of hypnosis; provide a clear understanding of the value and difference between the conscious and unconscious mind; recognition and value of the state of hypnosis. Various hypnotherapy techniques will be taught; discussion of indications and contraindications of clinical hypnotherapy; the ethical and legal scope of practice; development of hypnotherapy programs for behavior changes such as smoking cessation, weight control, stress management, etc. Prerequisites: None HYP 101 Course Outcomes: Explain the history of hypnotherapy Perform client intake specific to the needs of hypnotherapy Perform hypnotherapy techniques
