Service Description
This course prepares the learner to begin integrating skills and training into care of the clients. Creating a comfortable therapeutic milieu in regard to equipment needed for clinical setting, cleaning of equipment between client use is discussed. Other topics include proper documentation, ethics, scope of practice, marketing for referrals. Learning Outcomes: - Explain specifics of setting up a professional office - Define legalities of private practice Identify materials needed to begin a private practice - List marketing techniques for holistic practice - Explain ethics in regard to client therapist boundaries - Perform legal documentation - Scope of practice; Physician Referral BUS101 Business & Ethics for Holistic Health Practitioners will be offered as a ZOOM LIVE course. You must be on the zoom class to receive credit. Per IHL policy, you can miss 25% (4.5 hours) of the class. You are responsible for making up work and connecting with your class mates to obtain missed information. THIS WILL NOT BE RECORDED!
